Rutgerson Official Partner in GKSS Match Cup Sweden

Yacht equipment manufacturer Rutgerson Marin announces partnership with GKSS Match Cup Sweden, one of Scandinavia’s largest public sport events.

GKSS Match Cup Sweden is the highlight of the World Match Cup Tour, an international sailing event where the best match racing teams battle against each other as they have done over the past 24 years. The event attracts around 100,000 visitors every year to the small island of Marstrand on the Swedish west coast, which provides one of the best natural sailing arenas in the world.

“As a local company in the boating business we are very proud to be part of this great event. It provides an excellent opportunity for us to show what we do and help strengthen the image of Marstrand as the sailing metropolis of Sweden,” says Charlotte Rutgerson, Managing Director at Rutgerson Marin in Marstrand.

Rutgerson manufactures sail fittings and deck hardware for sailmakers and boat builders all over the world. The company is represented in more than 40 countries and is renowned for its innovative design and Swedish quality. All products are made in Marstrand, as they have been since 1976.

Rutgerson’s stand  will be located in the Junior Arena providing lots of fun activities for the entire family. Besides displaying some of the company’s latest products there will be daily competitions, balloons and a photo exhibition from Rutgerson’s  School Program allowing all local children to learn sailing during school hours.
