Rutgerson launching new mini-ring

Following the success of our super strong Low Friction Rings, a new mini-size with an inner diameter of 7,5mm has been added to the range. The safe working load on this small ring is rated at 400kg, yet the weight is only 1,8grams.

Rutgerson’s popular Low Friction Rings are now available in five different sizes, for lines up to 17mm.  All of them are made of a of high-strength aluminum with a special low friction hard coat anodizing which is extremely durable.

These rings are very useful onboard and provide an excellent light-weight alternative to blocks in most applications where the loads can be high, but the line movement is low, such as back-stays, reefing points, jibs’ sheet leads and lazy jacks.

Like all other products from Rutgerson our Low Friction Rings are designed and produced in Marstrand, Sweden.
