Energy Efficiency Project at Rutgerson

Through three major investments, we expect to reduce our annual energy consumption by 180,777 kWh, corresponding to a 32% reduction per year.

Three Investments – Significant Impact

New Injection Molding Machine

A new generation injection molding machine has been installed to improve the efficiency of our manufacturing process. The machine reduces energy consumption in production by up to 68%, resulting in annual energy savings of 32,747 kWh.

New Heating System

We are investing in a modern air-to-water heat pump system that significantly reduces the energy required to heat our facilities. This upgrade is expected to generate annual energy savings of 117,795 kWh.

New LED Lighting

All lighting throughout our factory and offices is being replaced with energy-efficient LED technology. The new lighting system is expected to save 30,235 kWh per year while also improving the working environment.

This project has been made possible through funding from the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket) as part of an EU-funded program. The purpose of the funding is to:
