Rutgerson’s new innovation QRS (Quick Reef solution) is the perfect solution for smooth reefing and a unique solution on the market. The ring could be described as a low friction ring, but made of two parts that are fastened together through the Super Ring and sailcloth, which centralises the weight on the sail. Therefore, the installation is very quick and easy, no webbing is required. Another benefit with this solution is that the boatowner can choose to have the reef line on starboard and/or port side of the sail and it’s also possible to change sides.
The installed quick ring gives the reefing line a larger radius through the reefing point and the unique hard-coat and Teflon-impregnated anodization provides even better low friction properties. The QRS exists for three Super Ring sizes: SR25, SR35 and SR45.
