Portlights

Rutgerson portlights are known for their seamless design and extensive range of shapes and sizes. The outer frame is deep-drawn in Swedish stainless steel 316L and mirror-polished, whilst inner frames are available either in chromed ABS, Off-White ABS or Stainless steel.

A critical element is the seal between the acrylic glass and the frame. The most common materials used by other brands are cellular rubber or compressible foam, but they tend to disintegrate over the years. Rutgerson’s seal is a highly durable silicone rubber gasket, which is integrated into the acrylic glass for maximum performance. The acrylic glass is also thicker compared to other brands, which leads to better insulation and noise reduction.

The portlights are availbale in oval, rectangular, elliptical and round shapes in either fixed or opening versions. Innerframes are always included and a wide range of mosquito nets are optional.

All Rutgerson portlights are CE approved in ocean category A, Area 1.
