Deck Organisers

Rutgerson’s Deck Organisers are especially developed for smooth and safe line handling with high loads. The sheaves are made of high strength composite, and each sheave is bolted through deck. The durable plain bearing together with the strong design gives a very low friction and superior working and breaking load. The Organisers can be stacked on top of each other to maximize efficiency of the space on deck.

This makes them exceptionally useful for leading multiple halyards or other lines aft to the safety of the cockpit. The individual sheave kits can be replaced, leading to an even longer product life time. The optional mounting plate can be fitted on top of the deck or under the deck, and when fitted under the deck it spreads the force of the bolts over a larger area.

* Stack height including optional Bottom plate. (the Bottom Plate can also be used for installation as Backing Plate). SWL and BL are given for a sheave loading angle of 60 degrees. Bigger angles will decrease and smaller angles will increase the SWL and BL. The organisers are stackable. SWL and BL is 33% less on the upper sheaves. Use M8 flathead 90-degree counter sunk screws with a maximum head diameter of 16.5 mm for flush fastening. Use A4-70 (DIN 7991 or equivalent) quality to reach the given SWL and BL.

The calculation of safe working load and breaking load is based on a deflection of the lines of 60 degrees.
