<\/p>\nRutgerson proudly presents a new innovative block range, The ROC Block. This is a new block series with aluminium sides, aluminium sheave and\u00a0an innovative roller-bearing system. The most innovative aspect of this bearing concept is that no side bearings are needed. The advantage with\u00a0rollers instead of ball bearings is that the force is spread over a larger area, which means that the bearings will not deform during high loads. Due to\u00a0this bearing concept, the ROC Block will be very competitive on the market. The shackle is forged and the block is available with a stand-up fitting.<\/p>\n
The first model of the ROC blocks has a 100 mm sheave and has a safe working load of 3,5 tons. Two more models, 80mm and 120mm, will soon be\u00a0added to the range.<\/p>\n
This innovation, like our other products, are made in our factory in Marstrand, Sweden, like they have been for 40 years.<\/p>\n
ROC stands for Roller-bearing Original Concept to underline the fact that it is an original design by Rutgerson, but we also think the name is suitable\u00a0since it is strong as a rock.<\/p>\n
