How to choose track size and profile
The maximum load on the mainsheet track depends on the distance between the sides in the cockpit when the mainsheet track is unsupported. That distance is called the span length. To obtain the maximum load, measure the distance and insert into the graph.
This graph is a general guide to help sailors choose the correct track for their boat. This information is only true when the track has been fitted according to Rutgerson’s instructions.
