Rutgerson deck fillers relaunched with new design

We are pleased to announce a few design changes to our popular deck filler range.

From 1 January all products in Rutgersons deck filler assortment will come with stylish caps in black composite and stainless steel, whilst the previous color-coding with red and blue caps for diesel, petrol and water is moved to the base for a more discrete look. All models will also have the word diesel, petrol, water, waste or access clearly engraved on the cap to help differentiate them from each other. This product update also include an alignment of the locking system. The new deck fillers for diesel, petrol and water will convert from bayonet lock to the same reliable thread-lock system as already used on our waste model. All of them available in 38 mm and 50 mm as well a third size, 54 mm, for diesel and petrol. The range also include a deck access model with bayonet lock.

The new deck fillers are made of the same high-tech composite and stainless steel, as they always have been. No metal is in contact with the hull, which means that there is no need to worry about corrosion or grounding. Deck fillers in composite are also much lighter than similar products in casted steel.

Another benefit with these deck fillers is a reliable and unique link-system, made of the same strong nylon as used on UV-resistant cable ties, to prevent the cap from falling overboard.

This change will be implemented as soon as we run out of stock or latest 1 January 2020.
